Yeap I'm well aware of that. But Its more people starting arguments and using the report function to get back at you, or as I found out today people not paying on runs because I swore once. I'd even be happy if there was an option that made you have the chat filter on if you were younger than 16 or something.

Chat filter doesn't matter. You are still not allowed to use foul language.

You might want to read the bold sections (Bold mine). You really have no leg to stand on.

The filter doesn't allow you to ignore the fact that the EULA states you cannot use foul language. It's pretty simple.

Perhaps you should consider NOT playing a MMO if you can't inter act with people with out using vulgar language, or follow the EULA, after all you agreed to the rules when you installed the game.

Hmmm ok, I wasn't really aiming to be portrayed as a guy who just screams the f word whenever something happens, I was more asking for a bit of lieniency towards it in certain cases, and maybe people who are easily offended remember that the chat filter is there for a reason.

If you got banned/suspended, either it must have been really bad or more than 1 person reported you.

Meh thinking about it now, I don't want Verbal Abuse removed as an option, I want people to put on Chat Filters if they can't handle it. It's what it's there for, why not use it. How can they say I THINK WHAT YOU SAID IS OFFENSIVE when they have chat filter set to none?

I've cursed someone out in the past and know for a fact 3+ people reported me, no ban, so i think it's mostly for racism/sexual orientation, I keep my chat filters off, but even if I have them on, i don't want some 12 year old calling me the N word, I find it entirely disrespectful, but someone could curse me out and i don't give a red engine

Yup I agree totally. With my chat filter off I'm prepared to expect that people may use the f word at me or other words. Even though I'm not black, I wouldn't tolerate someone using a racial insult at me such as the N word just because I find it generally insulting. Seems theres no middle ground on this though.

So you can stfu with they read the chat when i know they dont. They simply just go by how many people reported them maybe they read the chat for somthing like scamming. When it comes to verbal abuse and leeching they go by how many people reported them.
